01 — The club
Tora FC started with families who wanted to take an active part in their children’s soccer journey. A club where ambition, enjoyment and belonging grow together.
Purposeful training that develops technique, creativity and the confidence to make decisions on the pitch.
A supportive environment where players can ask questions, try something new and learn from mistakes.
Families bring their ideas, skills and care to the everyday life of the club. Responsibility is shared.
02 — Our approach
Shared purpose works best with clear roles.
Here’s how we build the team together.
A voice in the club
From organising equipment to bringing a new idea to the table, parents help make Tora possible. Contribute in ways that fit your skills and your life.
Help with facilities, events, communication and the practical work behind every session.
Take part in conversations about team life, priorities and how resources are used.
Build a positive sideline. Encourage effort and teamwork, and let the coach lead on the pitch.
Expertise on the pitch
Coaches lead on the pitch. A community that shares the operational work gives them more space to prepare, teach and connect with players.
Design purposeful sessions that build technique, awareness and game understanding.
Lead training, tactics and match decisions within the club’s player-centred approach.
Give clear, constructive feedback and help each child see their next step.
At the heart of it all
Players bring curiosity, effort and ideas. We want every child to feel supported in becoming a more capable player and a thoughtful teammate.
Ask questions, try different solutions and learn through the game.
Set personal goals with your coach and notice what’s improving.
Celebrate teammates, share your experience and help everyone feel part of the club.

05 — Good questions
Getting to know a club starts
with a conversation.
Our coach leads training, player development, tactics and match decisions. Parents contribute to operations, team culture and the wider direction of the club. Clear roles help everyone focus on what they do best.
Families have different skills and different amounts of time. Contributions can range from an ongoing role to helping at an event or sharing ideas. We aim to spread the work fairly and keep participation manageable.
Our current team is for boys born in 2016. If your child is in another age group, you’re welcome to express interest as we explore how the club can grow.
Tuesdays, 6:00–8:00 PM at Bayview Secondary School’s Double Gym; Fridays, 6:00–8:00 PM at Langstaff Secondary School’s Double Gym; and Saturdays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM on Field 4 at Vaughan Sportsplex.
